So I wasn’t too crazy about this one. I stumbled across The Movies of My Life on the way out of the fiction section of my library.

A more realistic title would fuhuet the “years of my life” and his s Alberto Fuguet goes out of his way to alienate his reader, which made me wonder why he thought a reader would care enough to read his memoir. Interesting take on growing up in the USA as the child of immigrants and then living the life of an immigrant in the parent’s homeland later in life.
This is an exhorbing portrait of a Chilean adult looking back at his life and past passions.
